Hey you guys! I want to bring your attention to what is hopefully the revitalizing of spuffy_haven. just_sue and I are opening a new little challenge:


Kicking off with a few prompts for the tenth anniversary of Buffy's telly finale:




We feel there can never be enough Spuffy in the world, either fic or artwork, and we'd love for you to share with us.

Posting dates begin on the 4th, the first Sunday in August, and continue for the entire month (on Sundays).

Oh, and if it helps motivate you... every time a new Spuffy fic or piece of artwork is posted, a teensy kitten is saved. (I couldn't go with an orphan child... that would have been too much. *snickers*)

Le sigh, le heave. Smash went down tonight. **wipes tears** I hope someone, somewhere has the brains to bring the series back.

liliaeth and I are writing a fic for the crossbigbang. It's BtVS/Supernatural. We're desperately looking for a beta versed in both series for characterizations and plot points. Please, if anyone is interested, just comment here and we'll talk. Right now, there are 8 1/2 chapters written; not sure how many more left to go.

We're not above begging and offering virtual chocolatey bribes.

Can someone please tell me why I'm sitting here, playing Chefville on Facebook and reading other people's fics when I have Word open just waiting for me to continue on with the next chapter of Beloved? Hmmm? Every time I get a hint of what I want to write, I end up on another game page, instead. Me and the muse just ain't seein' eye-to-eye at the moment.

Anyone have some encouragement to offer? I'm easy. Maybe it's the impending snowstorm that's got me blocked. Yeah, that's it. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Drop on by with a shovel, folks. I'll lay out a spread of goodies and put up the hot chocolate.

Hey, you guys. Finally getting around to letting you know what's been going on with my life, if you care to read.

I, for one, will be glad to see the ass end of 2012 as it skitters out the door because:

Well, that's my tale of woe. It's depressing to recount it all, but I wanted to let you all know I'm still here, even though I've been silent. I came home at the end of July, and it's taken me this long to actually get the words out of my brain and onto the page. I love you all, and have been following LJ, even though I've been silent for the most part.

I'm even trying to get back into fic-writing, having posted the latest chapter of Beloved. Stop by, please, and say hello. I promise to read everything, and hopefully reply.
