Hello, out there. Once again, I'm looking for someone to help with the coding in my journal,![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
simply_beloved. For years, the journal was properly coded, and when links were clicked for chapters, they showed proper formatting. Then one day, out of the blue, every single chapter was centered. I checked and rechecked, making sure I had my opening and closing tags in the right place, but no matter what I did, the damned text remained centered.
At least for me it's showing up that way. I would appreciate any number of you guys checking in to see how the formatting appears to you. And some kind of explanation as to why it's all screwy for me.
And if someone is kind enough to be able to help me fix the situation, I would be most grateful. I am gearing up to work on this long, long, long overdue epic, and would love to have the proper showcase for it all ready to view.
I appreciate any and all assistance.
Hoping to hear from y'all in the near future. Thanks so much in advance.

Desperately Seeking Beta

the old boy yet. I swore that I would eventually finish the story of William Matthew
Jamison Dowell, and I intend to keep that promise.
I need someone to reread what's been posted, to help me find characters who've been
neglected; who should be part of the closing narrative. I have at least one chapter written
that needs to be checked for tone.
Most importantly, I would love for someone to bounce ideas off of; to help me push forward.
There are probably less than a handful of chapters left to go. I can see the light at the
end of the tunnel... it's just that I feel like my legs have been cut off.
So this is a cry for help. Hopefully there is a wonderful soul out there who is as anxious
for the completion of Beloved as I am, and who's willing to work with a neurotic, procrastinating,
insecureauthor writer.

TALES FROM THE UNDERWORLD: A KNIGHT WITH CRUELLA – Set in the Underworld and featuring Cruella and an all-new ONCE character portrayed by a special, surprise actor (James Marsters). Cruella has been left behind in the Underworld at the end of the season, and we didn’t exactly learn her fate… until now.
Has anyone heard of this? Has anyone seen it? if it's true, can someone point me to an upload?
I'm fairly sure I'll be disappointed, but on the odd chance it's true, I had to ask.

Jun. 22nd, 2014 12:24 amOn Friday, June 20th, the sweetest, warmest, most tender-hearted young woman I know lost her battle with ovarian cancer. This fucking disease cut short her life at the age of thirty-four. She leaves behind grieving parents, siblings, god-children, and scores of friends.

AAARGH! The Dreaded Gym Class Earworm!!
Jun. 8th, 2014 11:49 pmThere's a commercial out currently for the Apple iPhone 5s that gives me chills every time the music track kicks in. Being the kind, generous person that I am, I humbly offer to share the buggering earworm with you:
I hated gym class with the passion of a million fiery suns (not to mention the one piece gymsuits that had to be ironed or they marked you unprepared). Just hearing this song made me break out in sweat and hives. It was torture - using the voice of the man I adored as Professor Harold Hill to show just how clumsy and uncoordinated I was. Gym class, meet Clockwork Orange.
Thank goodness I can watch the musical but Go You Chicken Fat, Go still makes me that little bit nauseous. **shudders** Any fellow sympathizers out there who suffered as I did?

A Surprise Bit of Happiness for a Change
Jun. 3rd, 2014 10:26 pmMy elder son, the one I live with, sent me a little prezzie from Amazon.com today. "Because it's Tuesday," he said.
I happily add it (All ten movies) to the shelf to sit next to the Buffy set, and Beauty and the Beast set he's also bought for me, and the Angel set I bought for myself. I do believe I have a re-watch coming up soon.
Ah, my first fandom, my first character crush (Spock, of course) and my first slash OTP (Kirk/Spock).
It's nice to post something pleasant. I hope this trend continues. *smiles*
