Just a quiet, little admission in the wee hours of the morning... I managed to get out of the house today. Went to the bank, mailed a letter, then went to the supermarket.

The scariest two and a half hours I've spent in a long time, but at least I did it. Go, me.

I didn't realize you were agoraphobic. Wow, that's quite an achievement!

When I moved to Vegas I would have panic attacks every time I got near the strip for three months. I get really nervous when around large groups of people. So I understand a tiny bit what it's like to fear something where everyone else thinks you should just be fine.

The grocery store and the mall are my least favorite places on earth. I avoid them like the plague and do 85% of all of my shopping online (clothes, electronics, paper goods, toiletries, etc). My therapist and I often discuss the fact that I have nothing in my fridge except diet coke, which I pick up at the convenience store when filling my car with gas.
