All the begging and pleading and nail biting (yes, I have issues and neurotic tendencies, it seems) was for naught. Dreamwidth sent me my very own invite. So, I decided to go with a more generic approach to the journal name.

I'm not leaving LJ... I'm still satisfied with my permanent account here, but as they say:

Resolved to delurk and comment more so this is the ideal opportunity. I was really surprised to find a Dreamwidth invite in my email inbox this morning. I'd opened up an account using Open id which I've since cancelled and I'm now there, same name as here. Hopefully, things won't change too much over here as you can apparently cross post (not that I know anything about that!)but I was just a wee bit scared that I'd be left here all by myself.
