Maybe if we all shut our eyes together and hope, the weather will allow the visiting nurse to actually visit this coming morning. The wound area she packed with gauze has decided to leak through, and I really don't want to explode all over my bed.

Sending positive vibes your way--a dear friend of mine just had some major surgery too, and for a while each day was a different taste of misery--but look! all of a sudden things will start getting better (like they did for her), and it will all seem like a nightmare.

I remember well when we had the nursing service here, they had to come every day, come rain come shine. And they came but sometimes late.
