What The Hell Now?

spikes_heartDamn, if it's not one thing, it's another. Booted up the computer this morning, and the mouse wasn't working. So, no panic here... went and unplugged it and replugged it. Nice little USB mouse still wasn't working, so I switched the mouse and the keyboard and lo and behold - it lives!
Now, however... the freaking keyboard is acting up. In Word, all the keys seem to function. With IE... the damned arrow keys and the home and end keys don't work. nor the page up and down keys. I swear, someone is out to get me, and I'm not happy.
Does anyone know how to fix this freaking situation? I beg and plead, and would be most greatful for any and all assistance.
Might try rebooting, tho - but still... GRRR ARGH!
