Did I mention that it's snowing again today? Hmmm? For the umpteenth day in a row now, I believe. True, it's piddly showers, and won't amount to a hill of beans, but man, it's the freaking principle of it all. Snow! Again! Damn!

And as for last night's post, about the bad!words!in!fic? **snickers** I just found it all funny. As we all know, moderation is the key to everything. Yuh huh. Off to write the rest of my Disney smut.

Stop in and say hello - feeling real friendly at the moment. Hope all's well where you are.

Hey, Brandi! How's it hangin'?

I have to laugh - I usually struggle to make 1500 word chapters for my two little ficcies, and I'm working on this ficathon piece for a day or so now, and it's already at nearly 1600 words... and it's just hit the slashy portion of our program that I so suck at.

Can I lift that little scene from WWV, where Spike teaches Vamp!Xander just what he likes, changing the names to reflect the needed pairing? Verbatim? Would anyone notice I've suddenly turned into a slashy genius?

**sighs** goes off to ponder the the improbabilities of Andrea, the slash maven.

You can lift it, I don't mind at all, just try not to do it verbatum, or if you have to credit me or something.

Want you to know I've been having a crappy day and this just tickled me to death.

Oh gods, Brandi! I was KIDDING with a capital KID!!!! I was just thinking the lazy way out of writing 'cause you're just so much more better'n me. Everyone is so much better'n me. So it seems, anyway.

I'm glad it tickled you, and I'm sorry you're having such a mucky day - I get that. But I'll tell you - you've given me a giggle, too - so the world is a teensier bit better for us both.

WEEKEND, babe - for those of us who actually have jobs and lives, this means something.

Kidding or no you can still use it if ya wanna, even if its just inspirational. One time I emailed an author I really admired and had exchanged several emails with if I could use one phrase from one of her fics and she debated it for a month and finally said "absolutely not it would set a bad precedent" and that hurt my feelings so much. Cause I totally could have used it and no one would have ever known, but since I asked and was rejected....

Oddly enough I wanted it for the S/B bonding scene in WWV. Needless to say it hasn't been written yet and this happened over a year ago.

And yes WEEKEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't decide what I'm going to do after I go the gym and grocery store this evening. Veg out on the couch and watch DVDs, work on my SpikeSlashFicathon assignment, or research for the next chapter of WWV.

Perhaps the healthiest response I've found to the bad!ficwords issue so far. Just keep writing, baby.
